Hi! I'm Chelsea.
Iām a 2010 graduate of the School of Fine Arts at Indiana University in Bloomington. A few semesters into my studio art major, I casually decided to take a metals class. I ended up taking every possible jewelry course and an extra independent study... I was captivated! I started selling my work in 2009, and have been growing my business ever since. My main focus at IU was metalsmithing and jewelry design, but I also explored photography, printmaking, drawing, painting, sculpture, and art history.
I believe every person should embrace and express their unique personality, style, and point of view. Tactile Melodies strives to help our customers feel confident and beautiful every single day.
Metalsmithing is a big part of my life, but I also love history, genealogy, soccer, live music and comedy, BBQ, and road trips. I'm a member of the Bloomington Handmade Market board, Sullivan Area Art Guild, Tri Kappa, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Society of Indiana Pioneers.
