What’s in a name?

Tactile Melodies is the name I’ve given to my everyday jewelry designs. Some are simple, some are quirky. All are designed and made by me.

The name came from one of my greatest inspirations - music. Music is a part of my life every day. Whether I’m walking around downtown, driving across the country, or sitting around my apartment, music will be playing.

When thinking about a name for my jewelry, I kept coming back to music. I started thinking about my creations as little melodies and harmonies, composing their own little kind of visual music. The wearer would be accompanied by these little color and texture compositions that they could see and touch throughout their day. It seemed to be a perfect comparison, so I decided to call them Tactile Melodies.

I hope you enjoy what you find, and I hope you pay attention to all the melodies - big and small - accompanying you throughout your day.
